This box displays the medium used for sampling.

For adsorption tubes the type and amount of adsorbent is given f.i. charcoal tube 100/50 mg; Chromosorb 106, 300 mg; 2-HMP/XAD-2, 450/225 mg.

For filters the type of the filter and the nominal pore diameter is is given, f.i. CE-filter 0,8 mm; dinitrofenylhydrazine/GV-filter.

When impingers of washbottles are to be used, the (overall) composition of the used absorption fluid is given, f.i. 0,1 N Sulfuric acid.

Unfortunately, the program can not handle Greek letters. Therefore, instead of "�" the "u" for the term 'micro' is displayed: um = �m (micrometer); ug = �g (micrograms).
